It's true, because we believe everyone who comes into the circle of this special fellowship called Meriden United Methodist Church has found a home. This is a safe place, and this is a sacred space - where people welcome you with open arms.
Jesus said, “I have come that you may have life, and have it abundantly!” John 10:10
What if you knew you only had 30 days to live? Would you live life differently, have different priorities, use your time more wisely? I’m sure all of us would. Nothing focuses a person’s life like learning their time on earth is limited.
As we begin the year 2025, I would like to take a few weeks to focus on how you and I might live a ‘no regrets’ life.
As we examine Jesus’ life and teachings we find four major themes: \Live Passionately, Love Completely, Learn Humbly, and Leave Boldly.
None of us want to be caught in the ‘someday syndrome’, we want to experience the full and abundant life which Jesus speaks about in the ‘here and now’. During this worship series we will challenge each other to focus on what matters most, to be spontaneous, and to risk your heart. To do TODAY, what most of us have put off until tomorrow.
To be completely honest, I’m a little nervous about this worship series! I’m not exactly sure how God’s spirit will
speak to each one of us. What I am confident of is, I know God wants us to live our best lives now, today.
Join me in 2025 and let’s see what God makes happen!
