It's true, because we believe everyone who comes into the circle of this special fellowship called Meriden United Methodist Church has found a home. This is a safe place, and this is a sacred space - where people welcome you with open arms.
We will be reviewing the oldest and most precious Sunday School lessons. What is it about these Sunday School lessons, what is it about these old Bible stories, that they have withstood the test of time? Why is it that we have been telling these same stories for hundreds upon hundreds of years, and even today continue to share them with our children and grandchildren? Of course, the most important question we are going to ask is,“What can these old stories, what can these Sunday School lessons, teach us as adults in the year 2025?”
We will be reviewing these wonderful ancient teaching stories…Noah and the Ark, David and Goliath, Daniel in the Lion's Den, Sadrach, Meshach and Abendigo in the Fiery Furnace, Jonah and the Big Fish, and Ezekiel and the Valley of Dry Bones.
